We work with ‘our neighbours’ in The Gambia, in the community of Gunjur and its surrounding villages where we are actively involved in promoting quality early learning. We do this by supporting seven Preschools, who collectively offer over 900+ places for children aged 4-6 years. As compulsory attendance at school does not commence until children are 7 years old in The Gambia, any opportunity to provide education at a cognitively-rich time in a child’s life increases their life chances. Thank you for helping us to continue this through your kind donations in memory of Evelyn.
